What I Do

As an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, I work in the Same Day Access clinic to see Children and Young People up to Age 16 years with a range of acute conditions, which would previously have been seen by a GP.

I can assess their condition and work out how best to manage their health, whether that's monitoring, a referral to another service, hospital admission or prescribing medication.

I ensure my practice is up to date by regularly attending training sessions.

I am also the Line Manager for our PCN Nurse Associate Team.
