RSV Vaccination Drop-In at the RVI
The RSV vaccination is now available at the RVI – no appointment needed.
Respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, is a common cause of cough and colds. Most children get it at least once before they’re two, and it is usually not serious.
However, some older people and very young children can be at greater risk. RSV can cause lung infections such as bronchiolitis.
The new vaccine offers protection for older people and pregnant mothers.
Drop In
The drop-in clinic at the RVI is for pregnant woman. Getting vaccinated as soon as possible from 28 weeks will provide the best protection for your baby.
