WorkWell: Supporting people struggling in work
Sometimes health problems like stress, back pain or long-term conditions make it hard to stay in work or return to work.
If you’re finding it a struggle, a free NHS service called WorkWell can help you.
How does it work?
You can refer yourself to WorkWell, and one of their Coaches will be in touch. You can explain your situation, either on the phone, in person or on a video call. You coach will listen, understand, and help you create a plan to help.
It can include things like:
- Getting you support from other health services, like specialist pain or mental health teams
- Giving you advice about benefits, housing or money
- Helping you with talking to your employer, and change at work that would make a difference
- Finding local groups or activities that match your interests and can offer support
Watch the video below about how WorkWell Coaches can help you.
