Why You Might Have Tests
Doctors might suggest tests to better understand what’s happening witn your health.
It’s a way to find answers, rule out problems, and make sure you get the right care.
Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account(through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Patient Access account
- phone us on 0191 213 5005 between 10 am and 4 pm, or visit us.

If you want to talk to someone about your results, please send a request via eConsult..
If you cannot send a request online, you can call us on 0191 213 5005 or visit us between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
