Spring COVID Boosters – Book Online Now

Spring vaccinations giving extra protection against COVID-19 can be booked online from today.

The first appointments are available from 1st April, but you can book online today, through the NHS App or by calling the National Booking Line on 119.

Spring Boosters will be available until 17th June 2025 in Pharmacies and Vaccination sites.

Please don’t contact the practice to book an appointment.

Who is eligible?

The booster is recommended for people who:

  • are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 17 June 2025)
  • are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
  • live in a care home for older adults

Why get boosted?

Vaccines are the best way to reduce the chance of getting seriously ill from COVID. People who had Spring Boosters in previous years were 45% less likely to need hospital treatment.

But the protection weakens over time, and regular top-ups are needed to help people stay well.

COVID-19 Boosters and Other Vaccinations

If you are also eligible for the RSV Vaccination, it’s best to have this on a different day to the COVID jab.

This is different to the Autumn booster campaigns, where flu jabs could be given at the same time.
